The Adventure Park at Long Island, the popular outdoor zip line and climbing venue located at 75 Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights, will open for its 2018 season on Friday, March 30 at 3:00 PM. That night the Park will also host its popular “Glow In The Dark” event, featuring music, special lighting and “Glow accessories” for all attending.

During Opening Weekend (March 30 – April 1) the public can also save 20% off regular ticket prices by using promo code OPENING18 when reserving online at The Adventure Park at Long Island’s website.

Complete information for hours and prices for 2018 will be found on the Park’s Prices & Hours web page. More special events will be hosted during the upcoming season and the public is advised to check the Park’s Specials & Events page for updates throughout the coming year.

Online climbing reservations continue this year as they have proven to be very popular. Reservations, once made, can always be changed online right up until the previously booked time and help avoid waiting lines by establishing a reserved start time for each climber. To reserve online visit the Parks Reservations Page.

As always, The Adventure Park features its special combination experience of zip lines mixed with challenge bridges between the trees that keeps people coming back for more. The park’s friendly staff is available to answer questions and assist from the moment customers arrive to the moment they conclude their climb and return home with satisfied “I did it!” smiles.

The Adventure Park is not one single aerial treetop trail but a variety of different, color-coded aerial trails of differing challenge levels—beginner through expert—that climbers choose from depending on their age or climbing experience. These trails consist of platforms installed in the trees and connected by various configurations of cable, wood and rope to form “crossings” of different kinds including the ever-popular zip lines. Climbers wear harnesses which are doubly secured to safety cables using the Park’s “always locked on” system of interlocking safety clips. Before venturing onto the trails climbers receive an interactive orientation and practice session.

The Adventure Park at Long Island is designed, built and operated by Outdoor Ventures. For further information or to sign up to receive the Park’s latest events and specials please visit ClimbLI.org, email: Info@LongIslandAdventurePark.org or call (631) 983-3844.
