Com-Guard.com, Inc. Announces it has Implemented a Bitcoin Full Node Using the Raspberry Pi 3
ENCINITAS, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 27, 2018 / Com-Guard.com, Inc. (OTC PINK: CGUD), the technology company that has been designing and developing security applications for over 15 years has announced that it has implemented a Bitcoin Full Node on the Raspberry Pi Development Platforms using Linux based Software and ARM Architecture Hardware.
As stated previously, the Company has been using the Raspberry Pi Platform for Hardware and Software development. “The Raspberry Pi platform is now the third largest selling hardware platform of all time,” said Dr. Edward W. Savarese, CEO of Com-Guard.com, Inc., as stated in a recent article titled “The Raspberry Pi is now the third best-selling computer of all time.” By David Nield March 18, 2017, he stated that “The Raspberry Pi is now the third best-selling general purpose computer of all time.”
The Company was able to implement the Software based on information in the Public Domain and referred to the Article, “How to Build a Bitcoin Full Node on a Raspberry Pi” published on August 22, 2017 (Build a Mining Rig). As the Article pointed out, “As the Bitcoin network grows, it’s important that people maintain their full nodes. We need to constantly bring new nodes onto the network to keep it decentralized and healthy and a Full Node is simply a computer that is running the Bitcoin Core Wallet. The Bitcoin Core Wallet, by default, downloads a full copy of the Blockchain.”
“Com-Guard.com, Inc. is expanding its expertise using the Raspberry Pi line of Computers and implementing Blockchain using the Linux Operating System and is in the planning stages of the Bitcoin Full Node as a fully configured system. The objective is to configure a solution so that the end user will not have to be a Computer expert to implement it on the Bitcoin network,” said Dr. Edward W. Savarese, CEO of Com-Guard.com, Inc.
“We believe that the future of the Blockchain Software will be important in many security areas such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and keeping track of transactions in a secure and encrypted network of computers. There have been many articles written on using Blockchain Technology in the areas of Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Contracts and many other areas,” said Dr. Edward W. Savarese, CEO of Com-Guard.com, Inc.
In a recent article, “Blockchain as the answer to IoT challenges” in the Spring of 2017, Nicolas Windpassinger, author of “Digitize or Die”, an IoT book for transformational leaders, wrote about the practical aspects Blockchain can address in IoT and how Blockchain can accelerate the evolution of IoT.
