Upcoming bike and skate park in Huntington Beach, CA has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund their business venture, Common Ground Indoor Bike Park

Helping build a better California, Common Ground Indoor Bike Park has announced the launch of their upcoming location in Huntington Beach. In an effort to help fund their efforts, the company is requesting those interested in their business venture make a Common Ground Indoor Bike Park Pledge via their recently launched Kickstarter campaign.
“We are in the process of building an indoor bicycle and skate park that will be available for daily use by those who purchase monthly memberships or day passes,” stated founder and owner of Common Ground Indoor Bike Park Mike Nordan. “Our campaign on Kickstarter runs until May 11, 2018, and in that time our goal is to raise $25,000. We are encouraging those interested to make a Common Ground Indoor Bike Park Pledge, and in return, offering special gifts. Each pledge amount comes with a special gift to show our appreciation for your support and contribution.”
The company has currently secured the building and started the needed renovations. In addition to getting the space ready, the staff is working to purchase flooring, supplies, equipment, and ramps for the indoor skate and bike park. The main challenge the company is currently facing is the preparation of the actual building, which is expected to cost more than $100,000.
“Unlike the other sports facilities in the area, we plan to host events, sell skateboards and bikes and produce both competitions and ride sharing events,” continued Nordan. “We also help to have a reality TV show hosted from the bike park in the future. While these are lofty endeavors, we believe that with the help of the community, we can easily meet and exceed them.”
