Melbourne Motorcycle Lawyer Applauds Carey Hart and Indian Motorcycle for Helping Troops
America’s oldest motorcycle brand, Indian, and retired freestyle racer Carey Hart are coming together to bring Hart’s Good Ride fund-raising platform to our troops overseas.
Melbourne, United States – May 16, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —
On May 20, U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Stuttgart in Germany will enjoy an Armed Forces Day ride and barbecue celebration hosted by Hart and the team from the garrison’s Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) facilities. To show its support, Indian Motorcycle will be donating up to $30,000 to the Infinite Hero Foundation from test rides completed at Indian Motorcycle dealerships throughout the month of May.
There has traditionally been a strong connection between the motorcycle community and the military. That has never been more evident than with the upcoming effort by freestyle motorcycle champion Carey Hart to bring a V-Twin-powered Armed Forces Day celebration to USAG Stuttgart.
Hart said, “I’ve always held an immense sense of respect and gratitude for our troops, and that’s why I’ve made the military, both active and veteran, the focus of Good Ride’s efforts since day one. I couldn’t be more proud and excited to bring Good Ride directly to our active troops overseas.”
The event will be hosted by the garrison’s MWR staff and will include a ride from USAG Stuttgart through the Black Forest and Germany’s scenic countryside led by Hart himself. Following the ride, the Armed Forces Day celebration will continue with a family-friendly barbecue featuring live music, prize drawings and a kids’ zone.
USAG Stuttgart currently houses over 20,000 U.S. servicemen and women. Of these, 200+ motorcycle owners are expected to participate in the ride.
Indian Motorcycles, in support of Good Ride Salutes USAG Stuttgart, is making it possible for people here at home to do their part to aid in the celebration. Throughout the month of May, it will donate $20, up to a total of $30,000, to the Infinite Hero Foundation for every test ride taken at one of its dealerships located in the North America. All donations will be made in the rider’s name.
The Infinite Hero Foundation is the primary beneficiary of the Hart’s Good Ride Rally. It is dedicated to funding programs that drive innovation and accessibility of effective treatments for military heroes and their families dealing with service-related mental and physical injuries.
Steve Menneto, president of Indian Motorcycle Company, was quoted as saying, “Indian Motorcycle’s commitment to the American military dates back to the first World War, and it’s something that will forever be a part of our brand DNA.” He continued, “It’s both an honor and a privilege to bring a little piece of home overseas to these brave men and women with this special Good Ride event and Armed Forces Day celebration.”
To further promote the Armed Forces Day celebration, Indian Motorcycle will be sponsoring events at its dealerships across the United States and Canada. Most will host events honoring the military on May 19, with many stores offering free food, drinks and other giveaways, including an Indian-branded multi-tool in remembrance of those who give so much to secure the freedoms we enjoy.
Florida motorcycle attorney and bike enthusiast Brad Sinclair of Melbourne commented when hearing of the event, “I am a longtime supporter of Hart’s Good Ride. I feel we should all do our part to support our troops no matter where they are stationed in the world. I don’t currently have an Indian in my collection, but rest assured that I will be going for a test ride this month and encourage everyone else to do the same.”
Donations to support American active troops and veterans can be made to Hart’s Good Ride (a 501(c)(3) charity) at www.goodriderally.com.
