Keegan believes community building starts with being friendly. “People need to socialize,” says Tom Keegan. “I think they’re seeking community, a place to safely be closer to others and to have, face-to-face “in-person” experiences…a place where they can build communities and friendships.” The staff at The Game Table Café strives to be that place every day.

Community building and social interaction is definitely part of The Game Table Café experience. It seems to be working as people from Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg and the greater Central Pennsylvania seem drawn to the café. Recently hosting International Tabletop Day at the café; they had a sellout crowd with people traveling from Baltimore, Lancaster and State College simply to enjoy the day with friends at the Game Table Café.
