The Golf Accessory Powerhouse Strengthens Connections with Club Pros and PGA Sections

Mobile Pro Shop is celebrating 45 years in the golf accessory industry. The Arlington, TN based company started in 1973 in Atlanta before moving to the Memphis area in 2006. During a period when the golf industry has witnessed dramatic changes as smaller companies have been consolidated into larger corporations, Mobile Pro Shop has stayed true to its roots. Specializing in customized products, Mobile Pro Shop remains a trusted partner with club professionals at private and public courses.

This year Mobile Pro Shop is continuing its partnership with many state Professional Golfer Association (PGA) sections. The PGA of America is the largest working sports organization in the world. It is comprised of men and women dedicated to promoting the enjoyment of the game of golf to all ages.

For years Mobile Pro Shop has been actively involved with the Tennessee PGA Section, which was chartered in 1968. The TNPGA is deeply involved in promoting junior golf throughout the state including drive, chip, and putt competitions, the First Tee program, and the Sneds Tour. Through these type of junior programs, the TNPGA creates golfers for a lifetime.

The TNPGA encompasses the entire State of Tennessee, including one county (Desoto) in eastern Mississippi. The Section office is located in Franklin, Tennessee and acts as a resource for local and national golf information for the golf professional and amateur player alike.
