Belinda Keiser, who is a candidate for the 25th Senate District in Florida, graciously accepts an endorsement from Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida’s 1st Congressional District.

Belinda Keiser, Vice Chancellor of Keiser University, candidate for Florida’s 25th Senate District, announced today that she has been endorsed by Congressman Matt Gaetz who represents Florida’s 1st Congressional District encompassing portions of Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties. He serves on the Budget, Armed Services, and Judiciary Committees.

Belinda Keiser has devoted her career to advancing Florida’s economic and workforce development, global competitiveness, education and healthcare communities. In addition to serving on various governmental boards, Mrs. Keiser is the Vice Chancellor of Keiser University (KU), currently serving for over 30 years, and is an advocate for students’ accessibility to higher education and talent development.
She most recently served as a member of the Constitution Revision Commission appointed by Governor Rick Scott. Florida is the only state in the Union with a Constitution Revision Commission. Belinda Keiser has served as an Ex-Officio member of the Florida Council of 100, member of the Board of Florida’s Chamber of Commerce and on the Florida Government Efficiency Task Force. Previously, she served on the Workforce Florida Inc. (currently known as CareerSource Florida) Board of Directors from 2005 to 2010, including serving as its past chair.
She recently completed consecutive terms—eight years–as a reappointed member of the 17th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission of Broward County. Currently she serves as an appointee of Governor Rick Scott to the Board of Directors for both Enterprise Florida and Space Florida.
In 2016, Belinda Keiser was entered into the Congressional Record in Recognition of Women’s History Month by Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart and Speaker Paul Ryan for her work in the areas of education, public service and philanthropy. She was selected as a 2015 FACE award recipient. The FACE Awards highlight individuals who embrace diversity in South Florida, implementing change, promoting ethnic diversity and empowering others. Also in 2015, she was named the Republican of the Year by the Broward GOP at its annual Lincoln Day Dinner.
She received a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, a certificate in paralegal studies from Keiser University and a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
Belinda Keiser has been married to her husband, Dr. Arthur Keiser, for over 34 years and is the proud mother of Robert Keiser, Executive Director of Southeastern Colleges and Southeastern Institutes.
