Family Promise of Salt Lake Annual Jubilee – Wednesday August 1, At Liberty Park

It’s time for the annual Family Promise of Salt Lake, Jubilee, a fun and informative event bringing awareness to family homelessness in Utah. The event is scheduled to be held on August 1, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at Liberty Park.

FOOD, FUN, and EDUCATION. It’s time for the annual Family Promise of Salt Lake, Jubilee, a fun and informative event bringing awareness to family homelessness in Utah. The event is scheduled to be held on August 1, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The annual Jubilee is a fun introductory event for families and individuals in the Salt Lake community to discover more about Family Promise’s unique value and impact in addressing family homelessness in Salt Lake. Learn more at https://familypromisesaltlake.org/

This fun and educational event will include a number of food trucks, including Waffle Love, Captain Lens BBQ, Comfort Bowl, Kind Grinds, and Taste of Louisiana, Utah. Activities will include a game booth, bounce house, and plenty of fun for everyone.

There will also be presentations that provide awareness to the family homeless issues here in Utah. Family Promise of Salt Lake will be accepting donations and sign-ups for a family event called Family Night In A Box. Guests will be able to participate in the Trail of Homelessness from 6:00 to 8:30pm.

Children and families are experiencing homelessness at a fast-growing rate, Family Promise of Salt Lake has helped over 800 families find lasting, long term, sustainable lifestyles over the past 23 years.

Family Promise believes that their work produces immediate and lasting positive changes in the lives of the families who come through their doors. Salt Lake area residents are invited to attend this fun and informative event on August 1, 2018 where Family Promise can share information about their program and help residents learn about the unique way they can help end homelessness, one family at a time.

There is no fee to attend, but it is considered a Friendraising opportunity to illuminate attendee’s understanding of the Family Promise of Salt Lake’s programs, homelessness in general, and volunteer and/or support options to help serve families in need.
