On any given day, one-third of American adults will eat fast food. That’s according to United Press International and other media outlets. The statistic is based on a recent report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The report also revealed that fast food intake increases with income. Less than one-third of lower income people eat fast food on a daily basis, while 36 percent of middle income people do, as well as 42 percent of those with higher incomes.
