Lumin Health Announces Key Executive Hires

Names Mark Heffer Director of Operations and Donna Grace Chief Nursing Officer

IRVING, TX / ACCESSWIRE / March 06, 2015 / Lumin Health(TM), an innovative, privately owned and operated healthcare enterprise based in Irving, Texas, announces two new executive hires to its leadership team today. The organization has added Mark Heffer to serve as director of operations and Donna Grace as the chief nursing officer.

Reporting directly to the founder and CEO, Dr. Douglas Won, Heffer will be responsible for evaluating and developing a strategy to improve clinical operations. Heffer will oversee the following Lumin Health-branded practices: SpineCARE(TM), OrthoCARE(TM) and PainCARE, as well as Lumin ConvenientCARE, Lumin ERCare, Lumin FamilyCARE, and NTX Anesthesia.

Heffer has a wealth of expertise in operations and business development for companies in the healthcare industry. Before joining Lumin Health, he served as practice manager for Sheridan Healthcare in Plano, Texas. While there, he was responsible for practice management for 12 outpatient maternal fetal medicine practices and six neonatology hospital service line locations. Prior to that assignment, Heffer served as a marketing consultant for AllianceCare Home Health, area manager for Encompass Home Health and was a sales representative for Jordan Health Services. Heffer graduated from Texas State University and is currently working toward the completion of his MBA program.

Donna Grace, RN, MBA, joins Star Medical Center as the new chief nursing officer. With over 20 years of executive suite hospital experience, Grace brings a vast amount of experience to Lumin Health. She has balanced her time in both profit and not-for-profit healthcare corporations, some of which include HCA, Texas Health Harris Methodist and Baylor Healthcare.

Under her clinical leadership at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake, Grace led the facility to five consecutive “Best Place to Work in Healthcare” awards by Modern Healthcare magazine (2008-2012).
