Wisconsin Governor Declares War on Lead in State’s Drinking Water; 4Patriots LLC Recommends Filtering All Tap Water

At least one child in all 72 Wisconsin counties has been affected by lead contamination in the state’s water, according to Fox6Now in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee County has more lead water service lines than any of the other counties. In order to combat the problem there and elsewhere in the state, Governor Tony Evers has created a new position in state government to coordinate efforts to eliminate the amount of lead in drinking water.
One in 13 Wisconsin children has tested for dangerous levels of lead exposure. The recently-passed state budget allows for $32 million for improving water quality. “There is a direct correlation with lead in the water, kids drinking it, and their ability to learn and succeed as adults,” Evers said.
