Minneapolis Awards Company Transitions to New Owner
October 14, 2019 – –
Minneapolis, MN. – Local Minneapolis awards company Viking Trophies welcomed in their new owner Zenon Dawydowycz this month. Lori Moen, the former owner and operator, has handed over the growing business to Zenon. Viking Trophies is excited to continue serving their community under Zenon’s leadership.
Zenon Dawydowycz began working at Viking Trophies when he was just 17 years old. He began in productions and eventually became the production manager. From there, he worked his way up to operations manager, general manager, and now owner and operator of the Minneapolis trophy store.
The transition of ownership comes on the heels of Viking Trophy’s 50th anniversary, an extraordinary accomplishment for any business. In 1969, Viking Trophies began as a solely traditional trophy company. New owner Zenon states, “Technology has had a major impact. We used to engrave by tracing letters by hand on a pantograph; now lasers and digital printers do that for us. We still retain our craftsmanship, though. For example, sandblast etching by hand remains our standard for high-quality glasswork.”
Since then, the corporate awards company in Minneapolis has been able to expand its product offerings to many different types of awards such as crystal and acrylic awards, plaques, and glass awards. They also have a wide range of other products such as promotional items, custom apparel, pins, badges, and just about anything else a customer can imagine.
“What has not changed,” promises new owner Zenon, “is our commitment to customer service and quality. These remain the leading reasons for our success and longevity.”
