The album, recently completed, has been self described as “grunge rock with a gothic jazz surf metal twist.” The breakthrough album could signal the creation of a new genre that mixes grunge rock with jazz and gothic undertones. It’s simply an engaging and unique sound that the listener won’t hear anywhere else. The debut album features a total of seven songs and runs under half an hour. It invites a cross-section of music genre fans to sample a lesson in musical diversity from a much broader perspective. Joe also took great caution in putting his songs in order to keep a hormonal flow for the sake of album continuity and consistency. The album genre could certainly not fit under one label but would instead be a melding of grunge, surf, metal and jazz.
