Contractors License School In Los Angeles Shares Information On California Contractor License Exam

January 07, 2020 – – Contractors State License Center, a contractor school based in Burbank, California, is reaching out to the wider community to share information about the California Contractor License Exam. The Contractors State License Center, which has been a contractor school for more than 20 years, offers a classroom curriculum that includes six different courses that cover Law and Trade.

Eric Jacobs, a representative for Contractors State License Center, says, “In order to qualify for a contractors license, you are required to take and pass a test administered by the Contractor State License Board. The fact is that the California contractors license exam is very challenging, and most people need some outside assistance or study material in order to pass it. However, you can make things a little easier for yourself and decide whether you want to study at home or go to a specialized school if you know what to expect in the exams.”

According to Contractors State License Center, the Contractor State License Board exam consists of two separate tests. The school says that all qualifying individuals must pass the standard Law and Business examination. In addition, qualifying individuals must pass a second test that covers material related to the specific trade or certification area for which they are applying, with the exception of the C-61 Limited Specialty Classification (for which no trade examination is required).

The school further explains that the tests are exclusively multiple-choice, with no need for long-form or short-from written answers. The law test will consist of about 125 questions. The trade exams vary in length depending on the specific classification, and there are about 80 to 125 questions on the trade, on average. In order to pass the law test, 73% of the questions must be answered correctly. The exact percentage of correct answers required to pass each trade examination will be announced at the test site.

Jacobs says, “We have been a contractors license school in Los Angeles for over 20 years now and have been serving all of the Los Angeles area. We’ve done extensive research on the subject, and we know that contractors have a higher passing rate when studying in a classroom. In order to help our students pass this exam, we have implemented an effective and comprehensive curriculum that is specifically designed to help you pass the test the first time without any necessity for retests.”

The classes are flexible, which means that contractors who want to learn only have to visit the center once a week in a two hour block. After they have completed six weeks of classes, they will start practicing by taking practice exams. Going a step further, the contractors school has also designed a home study program.

Jacobs elaborates, “We realize that not everyone has the ability to come to class to study for the California contractor license exam, so we have also put together a comprehensive contractors home study program that anyone can easily take advantage of. Our books, practice exams, and study guides will help you adequately prepare for the test. However, if at all possible, we highly recommend that you enroll in classes to take advantage of the classroom environment and increase your chances of passing the test on your first attempt.”

The excellent services provided by the Contractors State License Center have earned them high praise from their students. On Yelp, the school has a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 Stars. In their review, Idy G. says, “This school has definitely impacted my life in so many ways. Three schools turned me down, and Eric was the only one who took a chance on me and got me my General Building contractors license. The study material and practice exams helped me out so much to pass my exam. The support I received was amazing; there are no words to describe how much they truly care. Even after I passed, I went back and Matt took care of my insurance needs with reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone seeking their contractors license.”

Those who wish to learn more about Contractors State License Center, the various services they provide, or how to pass contractor exam in Los Angeles can find more information on the learning center’s website.
