AIMM Open House Event to Take Place in Febuary

January 15, 2020 – – The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media (AIMM) has just announced that they will be holding an open house in February. The event will take place at their Duluth, Georgia campus on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at 12:00 PM. This open house is designed for prospective students to get a feel of what this progressive music and media school has to offer them and what life on campus will be like while attending the school.

Nite Driscoll, President of Atlanta Institute of Music and Media, had this to say about this big upcoming event for the institution, “We are always pleased to host prospective students on our campus. It’s a great way for them to learn all about the programs that we have to offer and they will also have an opportunity to tour our facilities. Attending an institute of higher learning far from home is a big step in every young students’ life and events like this will help alleviate some of their fears about doing this. It gives them a chance to figure out if our institute is a place they can be comfortable spending a large amount of time as they continue their education over the next several years. We encourage everyone that is considering going to our school to attend this event if possible.”

Driscoll also talked a little bit more about what AIMM’s open houses are like. He says that prospective students will not just be touring empty music and media learning spaces. The classrooms, labs, and media centers will be alive with people. Other students and instructors will be on hand to do such things as demonstrating how they teach and introduce students to the equipment they will be using for their specific curriculums as they gain important knowledge that will help them succeed in the music and media business. He says they can also expect to be wowed with some good music from current students and be presented with some outstanding media presentations too. The institute president also wanted to remind those who will be attending the event, that they will be treated to some good finger foods and other refreshments too as they take in the day’s activities. He says it’s his sincere hope that every prospective student who attends the open house will fully immerse themselves in what they will experience during the day.

In addition to the curriculum-related events, Driscoll says that prospective students can also talk to people about such important aspects of their school as living accommodations, dining, and what there is to do in the nearby communities. He mentioned there will even be financial counselors on hand to answer any questions that students or their parents have regarding that area of attending the school.
