YouTherapy Now Offering Prepare/Enrich Couples Counseling

YouTherapy offers individual, family, trauma, and couples therapy to Twin Cities residents. YouTherapy accepts most major insurances and cash payments can be adjusted to meet client’s financial needs.

Rinke is a licensed marriage and family therapist, with a Master’s Degree from Argosy University, Twin Cities. His previous experience includes residential care and management for developmentally disabled and mentally ill adults, in-home family therapy and parenting skills training, specializing in behavioral therapy with autistic children, and group facilitation for adolescents with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder. Prior to founding YouTherapy, Erik was a therapist at Advanced Behavioral Health in Brooklyn Center. Rinke has worked with hundreds of people, presenting a range of concerns from marriage advising to mental conditions such as schizophrenia. Rinke is also a certified Prepare-Enrich counselor.

Prepare/Enrich is a customized couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas. Used by over three million couples, it is one of the most widely used programs for premarital counseling and premarital education. It is also used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. Based on a couple’s assessment results, there are typically 4-8 feedback sessions in a therapist helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills.

YouTherapy also regularly trains graduate students to become competent clinicians. As part of this program, there are various times throughout the year that these Student Therapists are available to take-on clients at no charge. These student therapists are only available once they demonstrate exceptional ability. In addition to this factor, the student therapists consult closely with Erik Rinke as free therapy continues.
