J. Waterman Has Announced The Formation Of A New Kind Of University For Children Starting At Age Five

April 22, 2015 – – J. Waterman, a Business Enterprise Architect based out of Ontario, Canada, has announced the formation of a new kind of University for children starting at age 5. Children’s curriculums will be built around their passions and strengths keeping them engaged and actively learning with purpose. This project is the result of more than 5 years of work by J. Waterman and his team. He believes the children today are different and less likely to put up with curriculums they don’t connect with. Waterman explains, “When the children have a curriculum based on a clearly defined purpose. They won’t wonder ‘when will I ever use this.'”

The programs being utilized throughout this educational program are structured to expose young learners to a variety of unique activities and experiences to develop strengths and find passion. By determining a focus and career choice at an early age, J. Waterman has claimed that he hopes to eliminate the struggle that many adults face today; stuck in jobs they hate. He believes the world is now ready for this change

“Parents today are open to letting their children follow their dreams. This University simply pushes them in their dream direction” said Waterman.

The curriculum used will accentuate chosen fields of interest while still including the basic elements of a strong educational foundation. For example, children who are intrigued by botany will still complete classes and testing in history, science, math, art and language, but centred around botany making the children understand their passion from all angles. The goal of this unique learning strategy is to make children experts in their field while still in school. J. Waterman has suggested, “This is more of an EdgeUcation; what’s the point in an Education if you don’t really have an Edge?”

By giving children the personal awareness of passion and personal interest, J. WATERMAN has stated that he hopes to eliminate the rebellion against learning that many children eventually go through. It gives them purpose and the necessary materials to fulfill a specific goal, rather than learning the basics of school curriculums without defined purpose. He explained that they will also be including a number of mandatory subjects which every child should learn. These subjects will teach children to build homes, grow food, find and prepare water, create electricity, live healthy, and most importantly, manage business and finance. The children will also acquire advanced learning skills such as Memory Techniques, PhotoReading, and Problem Solving.

The notion involved in this format of education seems to be not only to give children a chance to learn with their passions and interests at the centre of their lessons, but also to create independence through learning how to be resourceful. The outcome is suggested to be the ability to build a thriving business around their passion, and streamline operations for scalability in a similar fashion to the Enterprise Architect who designed the program.
