On April 23, 2015, the Company announced in a Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) filing “that it expects to recognize a pretax restructuring charge currently estimated at approximately $300 million over the next several quarters. The charge, which is principally related to headcount reductions, also includes a reduction in the Company’s facilities footprint, asset write- downs and other expenses related to the cost reduction efforts. As a result of these actions, the Company expects to reduce its worldwide headcount by approximately 8%.”

On this news, shares of Unisys fell $1.92 per share, to $21.63, or more than 8.15%, on April 24, 2015.
