Ankur Yadav is currently serving in the responsible position of Returning Officer RO) in the Uttar Pradesh district of India. He also has strong credentials in law, practicing as a criminal lawyer in Kanpur District Court, Uttar Pradesh, and holding degrees such as LLB (Honors) and LLM in medical and health law from Amity University, Noida.

The gene to excel and come out on top runs in the family. His father Mr Santosh Yadav (Ex DGC Crime, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh) is still active, and was recently in political news for getting elections organized for the UP Bar Council for which Ankur too was a co-ordinator. His paternal uncle, Mr Pramod Yadav is a senior politician in Samajwadi Party.

Ankur has striven hard to reach his current position in law and politics. He was earlier the assistant returning officer before receiving a promotion. A strong part of his ethics is taking care of the needy with social work, and he was recently in news for serving food for the underprivileged during Akhilesh Yadav’s birthday.
