All Star Cleaning Service Recounts the Free Cleanings for Medical Workers during the Lockdown

All Star Cleaning, one of Fort Collins’ premier cleaning services ran a campaign of giving out free cleanings to medical professionals during the lockdown, giving away over $30,000 worth of services in several months.

All Star Cleaning, a renowned Fort Collins cleaning service had a great campaign running through the quarantine months of 2020, giving away free house cleaning gift certificates to medical professionals in the area. The campaign ran from late April to the end of June.

Medical workers interested in this giveaway could enter by joining a Facebook group run by the company, Northern Colorado Hometown Heroes, and fill in a form. The winners were chosen at random each day via Facebook Live. The company gave away anywhere between 3 and 12 cleanings per day, as well as 2 ‘a year of cleaning’ packages containing 12 monthly cleanings each. In all, the company gave away around $30,000 throughout the initiative.

This initiative had a two-fold goal. The first, and more obvious one is thanking the medical workers for their effort in the pandemic which caused so many problems, both medical and economic. The other goal of the company was ensuring that none of the employees lost their jobs or their full employment.

“This pandemic hit everyone pretty hard, it seems. Seeing medical workers working impossibly long shifts and giving their best to combat this nasty illness gave us an idea – we need to help them as best as we can.
