A Leading Forth Worth physical therapist is gearing up to launch a new clinic in the area.

Dr. Nathaniel Ried, owner of Ried Physical Therapy and author of the best-selling book Chew On This, has noticed the toll that stress has taken on the local community. And, as a result, Fort Worth Head, Neck, and Jaw – Tarrant County’s only certified specialty clinic of its kind – is ready to welcome patients from December 28.

Dr Ried, after seeing a significant upturn in the amount of headache, neck pain, and jaw pain cases at his clinic, said: “The stressful times have led to more clenching at night, neck stiffness, tension headaches, and migraine headaches.

“The statistics show that 50-75% of the population have signs of jaw disorders, meanwhile, only 3-4% actually get treatment for that disorder – and that statistic is for jaw disorders alone.”

While many individuals continue to suffer, Dr. Ried and his team are there to help and provide a solution.

Dr Ried added: “I have had my own struggle with neck pain, headaches, and jaw pain that got so bad it caused me to have to quit my job.

“I was in so much pain and began to struggle with depression because I couldn’t enjoy my life. It was then that I realised that I wanted to help others with this same problem”, said Dr. Ried.
