Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to Host Praise-A-Thon Amid Global Coronavirus Resurgence
The Nigerian church leader Pastor Chris Oyakhilome kicks off five-day Praise-A-Thon as the world faces another coronavirus wave.

While multiple countries across the world, including the United States, Israel and Thailand, are experiencing increasingly high numbers of confirmed coronavirus cases, the Nigerian president of the Christ Embassy congregation, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, kicks off a highly anticipated Your LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon.
During the event, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will be thanking God and praying for the world, which is struggling to curb a new coronavirus wave attributed to the Delta variant of the disease.
The Your LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon will be broadcast on all of Christ Embassy’s tv channels and internet platforms, including LoveWorld SAT, CeFlix and the Pastor Chris Digital Library, from Monday, August 23rd to Friday, August 27th at 7 PM GMT+1 and 1 AM GMT+1.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome will be joined by Pastor Benny Hinn, Bishop James Payne, Bishop Clarence McClendon, Dr. Mike Smalley, Evangelist John Avanzini, and Pastor Richard Roberts during the five-day Praise-A-Thon event.
The Christ Embassy experience takes place at a time where the number of confirmed coronavirus carriers is surging around the world. In countries like Australia and New Zealand, new lockdowns have already been imposed, and Israel might be on the verge of the nation’s fourth closure.
In Oyakhilome’s native Nigeria and its surrounding countries, people are in desperate need of coronavirus vaccines. According to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, the continent had received a total of 103 million coronavirus vaccine doses at the beginning of August, and 1.7% of the African population is fully vaccinated.
Pastor Chris has initiated the Your LoveWorld Praise-A-Thon to inspire hope in believers all over the world like he successfully did with his “Your LoveWorld with Pastor Chris” prayer series.
