New details have emerged for the upcoming Neurodiversity Celebration Week unveiling plans for the schedule across five days of celebrations.

London, England, United Kingdom – February 9, 2024

London, UK – February 2024: Neurodiversity Celebration Week (Neurodiversity Week, NCW) have released its exciting events schedule for 2024!

 This year’s campaign (18th – 24th March 2024) will see 24 free virtual events and panel discussions over 5 days and will build on the success of last year’s events (more than 50,000 registrations across the week), with over 70 speakers set to engage in educational and inspiring conversations around neurodiversity and neuro-inclusion.

Topics for 2024 cover a range of engaging and informative subjects including:

To date, Neurodiversity Celebration Week has seen over 4,800 schools, 1,000 universities, 4,500 organisations and 750 charities worldwide show their support for the campaign. The team behind the campaign are looking forward to celebrating different minds, continuing to raise global awareness of neurodiversity, and helping the world to understand, value and celebrate the talents of neurodivergent individuals.

The event schedule and range of updated resources for 2024 are now available on the NCW website and include activities for schools, universities and organisations, presentations, key neurodiversity research, a brand-new social media pack, and suggestions on how you can celebrate neurodiversity throughout the week.

Neurodiversity Week is a worldwide initiative founded by Siena Castellon in 2018. It challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences and aims to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by providing schools, universities, organisations, and individuals with the opportunity to recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent.

In 2022, the campaign partnered with Lexxic, a leading specialist psychological consultancy and pioneer in the field of neurodiversity. With their mission to create a world where all minds belong, they are proud to be supporting Neurodiversity Celebration Week.

Brooke Elias, Neurodiversity Celebration Week Campaign Manager commented;

“Neurodiversity Celebration Week provides a platform for people all around the world to celebrate neurodiversity, and highlights the unique strengths, talents, and perspectives of neurodivergent individuals, whilst educating about the importance of creating neuro-inclusive cultures.

The panel discussions that take place throughout the week are an incredibly valuable part of the campaign; last year we hosted 24 events and saw more than 50,000 event registrations from across 117 countries. This year, we’ve gone even bigger and are bringing more panel discussions than ever before, across a wide range of neurodiversity topics, and we’re so excited for it!

We want everyone to feel like they can take part in Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we’ve reached out to the community for feedback and help in shaping the 2024 campaign and are doing all that we can to ensure the campaign is inclusive and accessible to all. The campaign tagline is ‘Celebrating Different Minds’, and we look forward to doing just that in March 2024!”.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week welcomes everyone to get involved and help support a worldwide culture of neuro-inclusivity. All the events and resources are free to attend and access.
