National Public Adjusting Firms Are Gearing Up For The Upcoming Storm Season of 2015

June 12, 2015 – – D.A. Lamont has announced that public insurance adjusting companies who work on behalf of the insured property owners in Dallas/Fort Worth are getting ready for the upcoming storm season. With the storm season already starting it is time for property owners of buildings and industrial sites to prepare for the potential of property damage caused by hail and other storms. The season historically begins each year in March and will run through to the end of November.

Property owners, facilities managers, and property managers should be thinking about the potential for damages from a number of different elements that usually come with the inclement weather conditions that are associated with the season. D.A. Lamont also recommends that these building owners and managers think about a contingency plan for when these storms hit.

NOAA (National Ocean and Atmosperic Administration) says that there is a potential for large hail, strong winds, heavy rains, and flooding that can cause damage to commercial properties throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as put lives in danger. They strongly recommend that property owners develop an evacuation procedure and also put protocols in place before the storm arrives and in cases of emergencies.
