Dmitry Druzhinsky Announces New and Exciting Summer Swimming Programs at MatchPoint NYC

The New Swimming Programs are Available for People of All Ages

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / July 22, 2015 / Dmitry Druzhinsky, a South Brooklyn resident and co-founder of MatchPoint NYC, is pleased to announce that the fitness facility has launched some exciting new summer swimming programs for people of all ages.

As Dmitry explained, from babies who are learning to get used to the water to aspiring Olympians, MatchPoint NYC is now offering Youth and Adult team swimming, a Water Babies program and Water Exercise for Arthritis classes. The summer swimming programs are taught in MatchPoint NYC’s Junior Olympic pool and/or the Kids Aquatic Center.

Even though the swimming programs are relatively new, they are already exceptionally popular and successful with local residents. For example, Dmitry noted that the swimming programs were designed and implemented under the leadership and guidance of former Olympic Bronze medalist and internationally acclaimed swimmer and coach Konstantin Petrov. Konstantin continues to excel in swimming; he is currently ranked second in the United States for the LCM 50 Butterfly and he plans to compete at the Masters World Championships in Kazan.

“Konstantin currently holds a Level 4 Certificate from the American Swimming Coaching Association, placing him in the top 5 percent of coaches in the country,” Dmitry said, adding that Konstantin brings more than 30 years of coaching experience having trained world class athletes and teams, ranging from Junior Olympic Level to National and Olympic Trials.

In addition, Dmitry said, Pavel Buyanov, who swims at MatchPoint NYC, recently performed exceptionally well at the Arena Pro Competition.
