Dentist In Anchorage Now Operating Under New Business Name

July 31, 2015 – – Anchorage Healthy Smiles, established in Anchorage, Alaska in 2010, has recently announced a name change. The dental office will now be known as Healthy Smiles Dental.

Dr. Terry J. Preece recently released this statement regarding the name change: “We’re looking to rebrand our dental office and want everyone to know that we promote healthy smiles. We offer a full suite of dental services and procedures, and look forward to meeting new clients. The name is the only thing that is changing. Our staff is still providing the excellent care that our patients have grown to appreciate over the years.”

Dr. Preece has more than 35 years of cosmetic and general dentistry experience. He offers a number of dental services including implants, crowns, whitening, veneers, dentures, and sedation dentistry, among others. His patients have only nice things to say.

“When it comes to finding a dentist Anchorage offers many. None of them however, put me at ease like Dr. Preece and his staff. I came in for a root canal, which is frightening enough, and we had issues with my insurance. Dr. Preece’s staff was wonderful. They kept at it until everything was squared away and my root canal wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be. I’m definitely a patient for life.”

Dr. Preece graduated in 1980 from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He maintained a general private practice for the next 28 years, and moved to SE Alaska in 2008, where he practiced at a local community health center. He served as the only dentist on the island until moving to Anchorage in 2010, where he began the Anchorage Healthy Smile Center, which has recently been changed to Healthy Smiles Dental.

Dr. Preece attends continuing education classes regularly. He and his staff provide comprehensive dental care, covering a range of issues, diseases, and preventative procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Anchorage Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Alaska Dental Society.
