Bitterwater Outfitters proprietor Clayton Grant has launched his own hunting school. The course teaches potential hunters techniques and other tips in hunting wild game effectively.

Randy Parker, a professional hunter with experience in trapping game for nearly three decades, is Grant’s hunting instructor at Bitterwater Outfitters Paso Robles CA. Trainees will be taught how to hunt, stalk, track, and shoot correctly. Beginners also learn dressing game outdoors. After the lectures, hunting learners are given the opportunity to hunt European hogs or exotic rams at Bitterwater CA. The two-day school promises to provide students with a plethora of knowledge in game hunting.

The first phase consists of classroom instructions from 8am to 12 noon. Lessons in hunting school include proper firearm operations and gun safety. Students are also trained in reading a variety of wild tracks and presence of wild animals in the area. Stalking lessons consist of shadowing game accurately with the use of vantage points, knowledge of terrain and wind patterns.

The hunting class also takes up shot placement so shooters can identify vital organs for different species to ensure efficient kills. Learners are made to watch successful hunt videos. They are also educated on the right way to de-bone, remove the skin and dress game animals properly.

The next phase of Bitterwater Outfitters hunting school is made up of accurate firearm sighting; perfect shooting from a minimum of 50 up to 400 yards; different shooting positions (sitting, kneeling, off-hand, and prone): and, mastering the act of shooting moving targets from a distance of 100 yards.

Bitterwater Outfitters hunt starts on the second say. From 8am to 5pm, the new hunters can apply what they learned in the classroom. Bitterwater Outfitters’ team of professional guides will walk the neophytes through this process. Clayton Grant’s hunting school will cost an affordable $1,500. Rental of guns with 50 rounds of ammo will require an extra $100. There are no age requirements. Hunting license is not needed to enroll. There is free delivery of game to the local butcher.

Bitterwater Outfitters Paso Robles CA maintains complete facilities and equipment. The processing facility has a skinning rack made of concrete and fitted with electrical lighting along with accessories. The shooting range provides absolute comfort for hunters with a steady bench and adjustable seats. There is a covered area where game hunters can rest and take snacks. A fire pit is made available for barbecue.

Past students have commended Bitterwater Outfitters hunting school mentor Randy Parker for imparting his hunting knowledge and experience both in the classroom as well as in the terrain. They cited Parker for teaching everything necessary from gun handling safety to shooting and familiarity with the topography. The lessons are very informative and worth the money that students pay.
