Bellago Homes Partners With Save the Family to Fight Homelessness in Phoenix Area

Every home sale will produce donation to leading anti-homelessness group, Bellago Homes reports

Mesa, Arizona, United States of America – September 14, 2015 /MarketersMedia/

Bellago Homes, one of the Phoenix area’s top home builders, announced a significant new partnership with the Save the Family Foundation of Arizona. Under the terms of the new agreement, Bellago Homes will donate a portion of the proceeds from each of the company’s home sales to Save the Family. Bellago Homes will thereby provide a steady flow of much-needed financial support for Save the Family’s important work aimed at helping families in the Valley of the Sun overcome homelessness and achieve long-term independence. As a family-owned business with deep ties to the Phoenix area, Bellago Homes understands and respects the importance of home and family and is proud to be able to contribute back to the community in this way.

“The Phoenix area is a vibrant, thriving place,” Bellago Homes Development Manager Mark Funk noted, “but too many families today are falling through the cracks. With government assistance becoming tougher to come by, hard-working organizations like the Save the Family Foundation of Arizona are stepping up to provide much-needed help. We’re proud to support Save the Family in their important work through our new donation program.”

Although firm numbers are difficult to obtain, a recent survey of the homeless in the Phoenix area found that around 18,000 people go without shelter on the average night. While some of these are long-term homeless people grappling with issues like addiction and mental health problems, many are members of families that have run into problems like tough economic times or domestic violence.

Focusing specifically on this generally under-served segment of the homeless population, the Save the Family Foundation of Southern Arizona provides everything from rapid re-housing services to programs designed to enable long-term self-sufficiency. The group’s mission means that the average age of the homeless people it assists hovers around six, with these especially vulnerable children benefiting greatly from everything the highly effective organization has to offer.

With a longtime commitment to actively engaging with the Phoenix community in positive, helpful ways, family-owned Bellago Homes will be a valuable ally for Save the Family. Under the terms of the new partnership, Bellago Homes will make a donation to Save the Family for every home sold by the company, thereby contributing important assistance to the fight against homelessness in the Phoenix area.

As one of the Valley of the Sun’s most innovative and highly regarded home builders, Bellago Homes couples this commitment to community involvement with a strong history of successful projects in the area. The company’s Cottages at Arcadia, for example, bring the flair and character of central Italy to Phoenix, providing elegant living space for those looking to enjoy all that urban living has to offer.

The Spanish-influenced Bellago Homes Tierra Vista development does the same in central Phoenix, offering up a selection of five innovative, space-maximizing floor plans and full ENERGY STAR compliance. Thanks to the new partnership, buyers of these homes or any of Bellago Homes’ other offerings will provide crucial support to Save the Family as the group helps families in the area conquer homelessness.

About Bellago Homes:
