Thai Army To Help Flood Victims In Myanmar

Bangkok, Thailand – Thai government assigned Thai Ministry of Defence to send the soldier teams to help the flood victims in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. There are 51 soldiers from Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters, Royal Thai Army, Royal Thai Navy and Royal Thai Air Forces. This operation has scheduled 9 days for the helping Mission from August 27 to September 4, 2015. The soldiers traveled to Yangon Airport of Myanmar by the transport aircraft C-130. And they go to Hintada city where is located farther to the Northwestern of Yangon about 60 km., according to Deputy spokesman of Royal Thai Army Sirichan Ngathong.

Royal Thai Army, Chief of Royal Thai Army Udomdech Sitabut ordered Thai Army Disaster Relief Center for Myanmar flood to send the Army Medical Department ‘s doctor team and the Thai Military engineering’s plumbing fieldwork team to support this helping mission.

The Army Medical Department ‘s doctor team has the potentiality for the preliminary medical care, mental health care, bone and joint internal medicine. And the Thai Military engineering’s plumbing fieldwork team can be manufactured 6,000 liters of water and 18,000 liters of water per day.

Chief of the Medical Humanitarian Aid for flood victims in Myanmar met the Minister of Ayeyarwady Region and the Hintada ‘s provincial governor to Visit the flood victims in the areas.
