Westreich Publishing Offers The Best Mystery Books For Teens On Re-Release

September 21, 2015 – – Westreich Publishing, based in Sacramento, California, has announced that they will be re-releasing the book “The Day It Rained Sidneys” by Budd Westreich as part of their goal to provide the best mystery books for teens. The book by Westreich was originally published in 1956 to rave reviews.

Budd Westreich expressed his pleasure at the upcoming re-release, “I was happy when it was first published,” he says. “I’m ecstatic now.”

The book is listed in Amazon’s 100 Young Adult Books to Read in a Lifetime for people aged four to forty. It is a mystery fiction, designed for teens and younger readers, about a young man who heads to London for the first time. The boy finds out that there are many people with his name as he fights villains, discover a number of allies, and discovers the secret of his missing friend.

The book is a classic from its time, and the author has decided because of its reception in the 1960s to reissue it to the youth of today. “It was so well received, and I just think that today’s youth, or those who remember it from first publication, will enjoy it,” states Budd Westreich.

The author also stated that he has plans to republish additional titles that he wrote in the juvenile fiction genre at a later date. He plans to re-release “Lance Todd at Mystery House,” “Lance Todd at Mystery Island,” “Uncle Morgan’s Ghost,” and several more of his 1960 best sellers.

Budd Westreich enlisted in the U.S. Army while studying at the University of Mexico. He earned the Bronze Star during his military career and returned to the United States to earn his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. He states that living in Portsmouth, England surrounded by the history of the region inspired him to write “The Day It Rained Sidneys.” He has published a number of articles, novels, and stories for teenagers, and has served during the past 15 years as a certified legal document preparer.

Westreich has a number of publications currently on the Amazon marketplace, and states that these titles will soon be listed there as well. Those interested in learning more about the author or Westreich Publishing can visit the author’s page on Amazon.
