Kirkpatrick and Lai Orthodontics Gives Back To Those In Need

TULSA, Oklahoma – October, 16^th 2015 – The orthodontic team at Kirkpatrick and Lai Orthodontics have decided to make a big impact with the Tulsa area community. As a result of their formation of the “Giving Smiles, Giving Birthdays” initiative, the rapidly expanding orthodontic practice has now been able to donate $10 to the Royal Family Kids Camp for every new patient they are working with who decided to start orthodontic treatment.

The organization which was founded by Wayne and Diane Tesch has helped come to the aid of over 80,000 children have enrolled in their camps since the their inception in 1985.

The founders of the organization, Wayne and Diane have expressed on their website, RoyalFamilyKids.org that they “Feel a profound sense of joy and urgency to reach out to the battered, abused and neglected children of this country. The group reports have a focus on helping every foster child, age 6-12, by allowing them to experience a life-changing camp, club and mentor.”

According to the official website of Royal Family Kids Camp, on an annual basis within the U.S., a mind-blowing 3.6 million cases of child neglect, abuse and abandonment are reported. Although these statics are alarming, perhaps the most disturbing of statistic to be found eon Royal Family Kids reports that one of the victims of child abuse, neglect or abandonment dies every 6 hours to the abuse they receive.
