Elbow & Shoulder Pain And Other Baseball Injuries Addressed In New Podcast
November 16, 2015 – – The Armory Power Pitching Academy, which is based in Brandon, FL, has announced that they have launched a new podcast channel, known as The Arm Pain Assassin. This podcast channel has been designed to provide information regarding baseball pitching arm pain, a condition common among baseball players of all calibers. Through the podcast, the clinic aims to demystify both arm pain and biomechanical and physical constraints.
“I am so happy to be working together with my son Ty Sullivan on this new podcast channel,” says Randy Sullivan, MPT from the Armory Power Pitching Academy. “I have over 20 years experience as a physical therapist and baseball coach and have worked with baseball pitchers ranging from youth, college and professional athletes. I have seen pretty much every case of baseball pitching arm pain in the book and I am committed to helping sufferers address this problem.”
Through the Armory Power Pitching Academy, Sullivan and his son have also developed an app to help people suffering from arm pain. They want to start by making it clear that pain is an indicator of dysfunction and that their information is designed to identify this. This is achieved through a variety of videos and other pieces of information that clearly explain arm pain.
“I want to help everybody be their best once again,” adds Randy Sullivan. “I have worked with thousands of pitchers from around the globe and have helped to develop some of the most respected rehabilitation programs. My son and I are really looking forward to being able to help others through our knowledge and experience.”
There has been a very well-documented epidemic of arm injuries in softball and baseball players across all levels. In fact, if people drop out of the game, it is generally because they suffer from some form of arm pain. This can be soul destroying for individuals, as well as incredibly disruptive for teams. Sullivan, through the Armory Power Pitching Academy app and the Arm Pain Assassin podcast aims to develop, manage and rehabilitate throwing athletes. He is looking forward to building up a solid base of listeners to their podcasts.
