Dallas Roofing Charity’s Inaugural Fundraising Gala Was a Huge Success
The Fundraiser and Charity Event Was Put on by Local Roofing Company Aspenmark Roofing & Solar
DALLAS, TX / ACCESSWIRE / November 24, 2015 / It was a night to remember at Roof Angels’ inaugural Halos for Homes fundraiser, which debuted October 1 at E-Car Link’s prestigious hangars at the Addison Airport. The charitable arm of Dallas-based Aspenmark Roofing & Solar, Roof Angels Halos for Homes proceeds went to support the charity’s continuing effort to aid local DFW families who cannot afford the cost of Dallas roof repair and/or replacement, or who do not have the insurance to cover the costs. A portion of monies raised also benefited Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity’s “A Brush With Kindness” program.
The venue setting spotlighted a collection of luxury sports cars, most of which were available for sale, displayed alongside vintage World War II aircraft for attendees to enjoy. Hailstone Vineyards and G Wine Cellars auctioned off a getaway in Napa Valley, a Caribbean Cruise for Two, and a retreat to beautiful Breckenridge, CO.
“We made great strides this year in expanding the impact of our mission but are always in need of donations to help fulfill our goal of helping twenty DFW families in 2015,” said Roof Angels Executive Director, Sharon Winneker. “Support from the local community was critical to achieving this goal. We were thrilled to have had such a strong show of support from the DFW community for our first major fundraising gala.”
With the additional support of local and national partners GAF, SRS Distribution, the SRS Raise The Roof Foundation, Aspenmark Roofing & Solar, Diversity Resources Group and the National Storm Damage Center, Roof Angels is poised to expand its reach to help even more families in coming months.
“It really does take a village,” said Roof Angels CEO, Chris Zazo. “The support from our partners has been nothing less than outstanding – we really couldn’t be doing this without them.”
