Budget Self Storage Collects Gifts for the Elderly

Budget Self Storage partners with Home Instead Senior Care to collect Christmas gifts for the elderly in need and isolated in our communities.

Budget Self Storage is proud to partner with Home Instead Senior Care and their national Holiday program called “Be a Santa to a Senior®”. The initiative is designed to bring smiles and joy to the elderly who might not have a pleasant holiday as a result of social isolation or financial limitations.

The winter holidays can be a depressing time for seniors, with many lonely and impoverished, who will not experience a feast with family or a beautiful Christmas tree. This public service program impacts the community and our residents by providing holiday cheer and giving gifts to those financially needy or lonely.

Want to “Be a Santa to a Senior” and help bring a smile to seniors by providing a much needed Christmas gift? The local Home Instead Senior Care Teams have selected gift item suggestions and written them on ornaments for each senior. Budget Self Storage has four of their locations across the Tampa Bay area from Sarasota to Tampa participating in the “Be a Santa to a Senior “Program”. You can stop in, select an ornament, purchase the item requested, and return to Budget Self Storage by December 10^th. The gifts will be delivered to needy seniors in these areas.
