Hotel Villa Iguana Bayahibe Initiates Upgrades And Is Now Rooster-Free

January 15, 2016 – – Hotel Villa Iguana in Bayahibe (Dominican Republic) is proud to announce that they have recently started with upgrading the amenities and services of their bed and breakfast. The upgrades has enabled the hotel to enhance their services to their guests and provide them with an unforgettable and authentic experience. Full details are available on the Hotel Villa Iguana website.

Hotel Villa Iguana is very happy to have been able to start with the improvements. They feel it looks better than ever before and this is also reflected in the many positive reviews they have already received form their guests since the changes.

The hotel is located in the heart of Bayahibe and it offers clean and comfortable rooms. It also has a penthouse room that features its own private pool and private terrace with sun roof. The penthouse is proving to be particularly popular with couples and honeymooners alike. Breakfast is included with all rooms at Hotel Villa Iguana. One indicator that customers are satisfied with the services is that many have been flocking to the Hotel Villa Iguana Bayahibe Facebook page to share their experiences with the hotel.

As a small fishing village, Bayahibe remains a traditional village and this is something that has attracted tourists from all over the world. However, in recent months, tourists have been complaining about the fact that there are many roosters that roam free or are kept in the backyards of houses in the village, waking them up during the early hours of the morning. Bayahibe authorities have started to remove all the roosters from the areas where they are causing a disturbance, while maintaining the fact that chickens and roosters are part of the village’s tradition. Hotel Villa Iguana is located in the first area that has been cleared by the authorities.

“We have had a few complaints from visitors waking up really early (4 am) in the morning because of the roosters and we are happy that the authorities decided to make Bayahibe more tourist-friendly by relocating these animals,” says Kirsten Tilanus, owner of the hotel in the Dominican Republic.

Further details about the hotel can be found on the Hotel Villa Iguana Bayahibe blog.
