A Baltimore Trophy Shop Participates in the Capital One Catapult Program

TIMONIUM, Md.— A Baltimore trophy shop was selected to participate in the 2019 Capital One Catapult Program 3.0. Allogram, Inc. and Amanda Gianotti were thrilled to take part in the program.

The Capital One Catapult Program 3.0 is geared toward improving participating companies by using tools such as instructional courses, workshops that promote collaborative thinking, individual meetings with experts on certain subjects, and help from advisors. This program helps businesses develop solutions to challenges that are innovative, and technology driven.

The Catapult Program started in March 2019 and continued until July. Two-day sessions were scheduled throughout those months filled with instructional courses and mentoring. Gianotti and one other Allogram team member went to Capital One’s Digital Lab in Plano, Texas for the Catapult Program sessions. During those sessions, the Allogram team developed solutions to technology challenges.

To top everything off, participants of the Catapult Program present a 10-minute competitive pitch of their solutions to complex business problems to a panel of judges in Washington, D.C. The winner of the program will be given a $20,000 grant for the proposed solution. Only 10 companies are selected for the program through a competitive application process.
