A New Charity Rides the Wave for Giving Back to the Special Needs Community, in the Name of the Big Kahuna surf Legend
SAN CLEMENTE, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 31, 2018 / The daughter of a surfing legend known as “The Big Kahuna,” in the Gidget Movie has helped form “Kahuna Cares Foundation,” a non-profit foundation for people with special needs. The priority of Kahuna Cares Foundation is to help raise money for organizations and individuals who benefit and enhance the lives of children, teens and adults with special need Co-Founder, Jennifer Tracy, is daughter of Terry “Tubesteak” Tracy, the legendary surfer, writer and creative soul known to many as ‘The Big Kahuna.’ Jennifer carries on her father’s legacy of love by creating this charity in his memory and continues her lifelong work and love for those with special needs. Jennifer teamed up with friend and Co-Founder, Veronica Hoggatt, to make Kahuna Cares Foundation a reality A lifelong San Clemente resident, Veronica Hoggatt, is a parent to a young man with Autism. Veronica is an activist in the special needs community who brings her
passion for helping her son to all those with special needs as well as their families. Together and with Kahuna Cares Foundation, they are able to raise
money through events and fundraising to help support those who help the special needs community.
