Academy For Yoga Professionals Launches Services To Help In Yoga Therapist Certification
June 29, 2016 – – The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) has released for the first time an application process to certify yoga therapists and the Academy for Yoga Professionals has announced that they can help with the process. The new certification process comes as welcome news as more and more people are becoming interested in yoga therapy. The application process was developed with input from IAYT members and other parties.
Unfortunately, many yoga therapists may find the process very daunting but Nicole DeAvilla from the Academy for Yoga Professionals is advising them not to worry, as she can help them navigate through the process. She herself was part of the Accreditation Committee assigned by the IAYT to implement the Standards for the Training of Yoga Therapists and accredit the first yoga therapy school programs. Thus, she believes that she can make the application process faster, simpler, and even enjoyable for yoga therapists aspiring to be certified. Details about the services that the academy can provide can be found at http://yogaprofessionalacademy.com/yoga-therapist-credentialing/.
Nicole DeAvilla says: “As a pioneer yoga therapist, I know how daunting the process of certification can be. However, once it’s broken down in language you can understand and you know what you need to focus on, it really can be a very simple process.”
Through her services, Nicole aims to help yoga professionals, firstly, to identify which one of the three paths they should apply for. The criteria that the IAYT has set are clearly laid out on their website at http://www.iayt.org/?page=CertifHome. Once yoga therapists, through DeAvilla’s help, have identified the most suitable path for them, she will then help them to organize their materials. Next, she will discuss with them the things they do and don’t need in order to make it through the process, and help them with the application itself. Through it all, she wants to ensure that yoga therapists won’t find the process to be difficult.
As can be seen on http://yogaprofessionalacademy.com/iayt-yoga-therapist-credential-now-available/, Nicole has provided a range of information on why the new IAYT credentials are necessary and welcomed to the world of yoga professionals. She hopes that people will not be put off by the prospect of having to go through the process itself, particularly since she is there to help them sail through it.
