According to a company spokesperson, baseball caps are one of the most popular accessories in the world – especially because hat sales exceeded $2 billion in the United States last year. At this time, Griffin has taken his project to Kickstarter, where he seeks the necessary funds to bring the Capless to life. The Afterball team is raising money to take the Capless to development and manufacturing; the funds raised will cover materials, labor, processing fees, shipping and handling, as well as e-commerce site maintenance. In exchange for the public’s support, Griffin and the Afterball team are offering contributors products such as the Capless.
