Agein.com reacts to a new study that shows most women want their skin care to be all-natural.
Boston, MA – August 17, 2015 /MarketersMedia/ —
Agein.com, the Internet’s premier anti-aging web site focusing on anti-aging tips, news, and advice from some of the foremost experts in the industry, is weighing in on a new survey showing the majority of women want their skin care products to be all-natural.
According to a recently published survey, more and more consumers care about whether or not their personal care products are natural. The online survey, conducted among over 1,000 U.S. women age 18 years of age and older, found that 59% read the ingredients label before buying, while 40% say they will increase their spending for all-natural personal care products. “While the anti-aging and personal care market continues to experience tremendous growth, consumers are becoming more selective in what they put on their skin. That’s because what they put on their body gets absorbed into it,” says Dr. Kevin J. McLaughlin, anti-aging and health and wellness specialist. “Some common ingredients can do more harm than good, so consumers want to know that they are buying personal care and anti-aging products that contain the healthiest, safest products.”
The survey also uncovered some interesting trends. The top three ingredients that consumers look out for and want to avoid in personal care products are sulfates (29%), parabens (22%), and synthetic fragrances (18%). When it comes to personal care and anti-aging product retailers, 17% of women say they are “not very” or “not at all” satisfied with what they find in department stores.
“Agein’s™ Stem Perfection™ Anti-Wrinkle Cream, Alpine Rose Eye Cream, and Concentrate Serum are all free of parabens, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances,” Dr. McLaughlin concludes. “On top of that, consumers can only find them exclusively on Agein.com.”
