Alexander Petraglia, a licensed criminal defense and family attorney, knows that no matter the situation, his clients come first, and he believes that such knowledge and action is standard for experienced trial attorneys. Inexperienced lawyers often do not know what it takes to make sure a client receives the best experience possible. As an experienced trial attorney, Petraglia’s time and energy spent perfecting his craft have boosted his success rate and his recommendation platform among those who have hired him because of his dedication to representing his clients vigorously.
Petraglia’s commitment to perfecting trial advocacy and client care shines through his educational career and, after that, into his professional experience. After graduating from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Political Science with a 3.800 Grade Point Average (GPA), Petraglia was accepted into the Case Western Reserve University Law School on a partial tuition scholarship. In the Fall of 2013, Petraglia made the Dean’s List, and in May of 2015, he received his Juris Doctor Degree.
Before graduating from law school, Petraglia started his journey in the professional world as a law clerk at Legal Aid Society in 2013 and then spent two years at Cuyahoga County Public Defender’s Office. In December of 2015, Petraglia became an associate in Kurt Law Office in Ashtabula, Ohio. He worked as an associate there for the next year, representing clients in civil, criminal, juvenile, and domestic relations court as well as utilized interpersonal skills to generate new leads and establish a thick book of business. Petraglia received his license to practice law in Ohio in November of 2015. For the following three years, Petraglia worked as a Hamilton County Public Defender and was a trial attorney for the Juvenile Division, where he fervently advocated for juveniles accused of delinquent acts such as rape and aggravated robbery.
During this time in his career, the trial attorney specifically honed his focus on growing his skills to the next level in trial excellence and client-centered representation by attending and completing the two-week Gideon’s Promise Training for public defenders. Gideon’s Promise Training is recognized as one of the top trial training courses in the country. Petraglia then moved his career to advocating for adults accused of felonies as a trial attorney in the Felony Division.
“As an experienced trial attorney, my clients can expect my utmost dedication to protecting their liberty, rights, wealth, and health. It is crucial for my clients to know that I view my relationship with them as a sacred bond,” said Alex Petraglia.
Petraglia now works in Deters Law Office as a trial attorney, successfully negotiating dozens of settlements for clients who have been wrongfully injured and working on numerous Class Action Suits.
