Alleged E-Cig Explosion Leaves Teen Blind In Left Eye, E-Cigarette Explosion Lawsuit Case Filed

June 13, 2016 – – LipsigLawyers.com reports on an e-cigarette explosion involving a boy, age 14, from Brooklyn, New York which occurred at a mall kiosk and led to permanent injury and blindness. The teen approached the Plaza Vapes kiosk near the entrance of the Kings Plaza Mall, and the sales associate installed a battery in one of the devices and handed it to him. The electronic cigarette then exploded, reports the boy, who sustained a severe hand injury and was permanently blinded in his left eye as a result.

State and local laws prohibit the sale of e-cigarette devices to minors, leaving many questioning why the teen and his friends were allowed to approach the kiosk in the first place.
