American Movie Company attended and provided video production and editing services for a Business Outreach event at the Yelp offices located in Manhattan.

On March 9, 2017, American Movie Company attended and provided video production and editing services for a Business Outreach event at the Yelp offices located in Manhattan.

Attendees were business owners from a variety of industries including restaurant, medical and beauty overall. Arie Ohayon was the videographer on set, and led the three-man crew with RJ Yenesel as sound operator and Romain Gest as PA. Parm Girn, Lou Blackmon and Eduardo Torres were present and each contributed to the efficacy of the team.

The motley crew from American Movie Company was on site well ahead of the start of the event to set up the cameras, lighting and sound gear at a leisurely pace. Arie and fellow workers scouted a section of the office and seized it to use while conducting interviews with small business owners attending the event. It was all done without incident!

Darnell Holloway, the director of business outreach at Yelp was was actively involved in the production of the videos, expertly interviewing attendees. Along with the question and answer sessions, Romain and Arie shot B-roll footage of the appearance of the event and atmosphere itself. Romain operated an EX3 on a Steadicam setup, while Arie operated a second EX3 rigged to a tripod.

The two-hour soirée was a great opportunity for small business owners to network and promote their work. There were several activities available to break the ice and initiate conversations. It was a great success!

Once the happening was over, the American Movie Company team broke down the equipment, and Arie went on to edit the content into several videos.
