America’s Keswick To Host Family Freedom Walk This May

March 07, 2016 – – Whiting, New Jersey based organization, America’s Keswick, will be hosting the 8th Annual Family Freedom Walk on May 7th, 2016. The walk is held each year in an effort to raise awareness for addiction and addiction recovery resources. Details can be seen from the America’s Keswick website.

The organization has been candid in the fact that New Jersey is a state which is highly affected by drug and alcohol addiction. They use a Christian-based foundation to help men and women who are dealing with addiction, in the hopes that they may one day recover. America’s Keswick has said; “The heart of America’s Keswick’s ministry is our Addiction Recovery Program. We reach out to men and women who are struggling with the bondage of addiction by teaching biblical, victorious living in Christ Jesus. Keswick is also a Christian Conference and Retreat Center where we take great joy in ministering to and serving our guests. We teach and encourage others to grow in their relationships with Christ by diving deep into God’s Word.”

The walk will not only bring more information to the public regarding the addiction, but it will also provide a chance for the organization to raise funds toward their cause of eradicating addiction by providing the community with addiction recovery programs and resources. The walk will circle Lower Lake, and will last approximately an hour and a half. They urge past and future participants to check out the America’s Keswick Facebook page for more updates.

For those who are unable to walk due to illness or injury, rocking chairs are available for use. These rockers allow participants to rock instead of walk, and still be part of the cause. Rocking chairs are set up on a porch overlooking the lake, so that everybody can feel included and enjoy the day.
