Annual Summer Splash Back To School Event Launched By Dr. Fidel S. Goldson Sr. Foundation

June 22, 2016 – – The 2016 edition of the Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center’s Back to School event is around the corner, slated for Saturday, August 6th. This year’s staging will seek to further strengthen the community by supporting parents and their children’s return to school.

Along with its community partners, the rehabilitation center’s foundation has been providing school supplies & backpacks for several years. Following the success of last year’s event, the Foundation is looking forward to another successful staging.

The latest back to school event will take place at the Central Broward Regional Park, located at 3700 NW 11th Place in Lauderhill, on Saturday, August 6th, 2016. Doors open from 12 noon and the festivities will conclude at 4pm. The order of activities will match the following schedule:

12:00 Noon – Registration

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Physicals

1:00 – 4:00 PM – Prize giveaways every half hour

Among the offerings will be free physicals on a first come, first served basis from 1pm to 3pm. There will also be a FREE Barbecue, bounce house, cotton candy, ice cream and music provided by One in A Million Disco. Additionally, the event will feature, for the first time, a Spelling and Poetry Jam. Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center will be partnering with Broward Alliance for Caribbean Educators to provide valuable information to help students become more successful in the upcoming school year.

The Foundation is inviting all to join Goldson Spine in supporting the community and share in a day that has been described as joyous and rewarding for all in previous editions of the event. The Foundation is also seeking sponsors to donate different supplies and provide various items.
