Author Matt Robison Announces the Release of his New Kids Book The Rainbow Knight

The Rainbow Knight is an Illustrated Adventure
Book that Tells the Story about the Magic of Prisms and Discovering the Colors
of the Rainbow

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 25, 2016 / Author Matt Robison is pleased to announce the release of his unique new kids book, The Rainbow Knight. The new book is a lavishly illustrated adventure tale about the magic of prisms, the nobility of sacrifice and the colors of the rainbow.

As Robison noted, The Rainbow Knight—which is beautifully illustrated by Darlene Segura—tells the story about a knight who guards a magic prism. When the prism is broken, the knight must go on a quest to collect the various items that still have their color, and thus help restore the rainbow.

Robison said The Rainbow Knight was inspired by his own children.

“They love seeing rainbows and have loved reciting the colors of the rainbow,” he said.

“I wanted to give them another way to ‘find a rainbow,’ and have another way for my youngest son, who just had his first birthday, to learn those colors.”

In addition to entertaining kids with its rhyming prose and eye-catching illustrations, Robison said The Rainbow Knight will also help to teach young readers about prisms.

“Here’s the crazy thing: prisms actually exist. There are formations of clear material that can bend and carve sunlight, turning it into a rainbow,” he said.

“The final pages of the book are dedicated to describing how prisms actually work, and how they are related to rainbows in the sky.”

In order to raise money to pay for the costs associated with producing his new book, Robison recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. He hopes to raise $15,700 through crowdfunding to help produce as many books as possible.

About
the Rainbow Knight:

The Rainbow Knight, a new children’s book, was written by Matt Robinson and illustrated by Darlene Segura. It’s an adventure written in rhyme about a knight who guards a magic prism. When the prism is broken, this same knight must venture out on a quest to collect all the items that still retain their color, and do his part to restore the rainbow. The book starts and ends as full color, but the middle will be mostly black and white, with only splashes of color to highlight the special items that must be found. Children will be able to point out them out from page to page, and participate with the knight in his search.
