Arizona Public Safety Coalition Begins Campaign to Support El Mirage Police – Council and Manager Compromising Public Safety

AzPSC Begins Campaign to Support El Mirage Police – Public Safety Compromised

Phoenix, United States – July 20, 2017 /PressCable/

After the Arizona Public Safety Coalition (AzPSC) launched it’s local, non-partisan, grassroots 501(c)(4) non-profit, the AzPSC Tip Line received several reports and the most interesting were about the increasingly poor public safety conditions in the West Valley city of El Mirage. Information received thus far indicates the conditions are a product of the mayor, two current council members and the city manager, who make poor policy decisions and are responsible for financial mismanagement.

Evidence clearly indicates Mayor Lana Mook and three council members have ignored the incompetence of City Manager Spencer Isom. Matters of legal and ethical concern have been raised in multiple areas of the city’s business. Reports indicate that Isom has continually misled the council, cut funding to public safety, not authorized critical officer training, which result in diminished police capabilities. The negative impact to the safety of residents and officers is undeniable.

Over the next few weeks AzPSC will disclose, and provide evidence for, four separate issues that have negatively impacted the city’s police department which in turn affects the city’s public safety. Ultimately the AzPSC will demonstrate how Mook and Isom have gambled with the safety of El Mirage residents.

The primary goal of the Arizona Public Safety Coalition is to provide advocacy for Citizens and Arizona’s law enforcement officers by holding officials accountable and educating the perspectives of voters and taxpayers.

The Arizona Public Safety Coalition website (azpsc.org) contains a Tipline so officers, taxpayers, and voters can anonymously, and without fear of reprisal, report conditions that negatively impact public safety and the well being of law enforcement officers. All information reported through the Tipline will be independently verified and no agency or official will be off limits.

The Arizona Public Safety Coalition website also includes the infrastructure to collect financial contributions in order to pool the resources for campaigns specific to certain causes and conditions. The Arizona Public Safety Coalition does not accept for-profit corporate contributions or collaborate with for-profit corporate interests. Arizona Public Safety Coalition only serves the interests of those who serve to protect us.
