Balanced Body MN Announces New Location

March 08, 2016 – – Chiropractic clinic, Balanced Body MN, announces new location in JGM Properties, Corporate One Bloomington office space building.

Balanced Body provides high quality, personalized healthcare in a calm and relaxing atmosphere, where they focus on the root cause of discomfort. They offer quality care for both people and animals. Quality care has always been their driving focus.

“Our mission is to restore the body to its natural balance, by enhancing the lines of communication between the brain and spinal cord; so the body can heal through its own innate intelligence,” says Balanced Body MN founder Dr. Jen.

Dr. Jen Skelton tailors every treatment to the unique requirements of each individual patient. Dr. Jen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI. She spent 2 years working with and for the Salvation Army before pursuing her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN, graduating in April, 2013.

Her love of animals attracted her to learn and become certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy / Animal Chiropractic, from ‘The Healing Oasis Wellness Center’ in Sturtevant, WI.

Spinal adjustment/manipulation is a core treatment in chiropractic care, but it is not synonymous with chiropractic. Chiropractors commonly use other treatments in addition to spinal manipulation. During your initial visit, Dr. Jen will take a health history and perform a physical examination, with a special emphasis on the spine. Other examinations or tests such as x-rays may also be performed. If chiropractic treatment is considered appropriate, a treatment plan will be developed.

Balanced Body MN treats a myriad of conditions and symptoms, including: bursitis, carpel tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia, joint disease, low back pain, osteoporosis, sciatic, scoliosis, subluxation, tension headaches, torticollis, and whiplash.

Balanced Body MN offers several plans to patients do not have insurance, or have plans with limited coverage, such as catastrophic policies. They also accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa or Discover cards. Medicare and secondary insurance are also accepted.

“We attempt to take out as much of the “insurance hassle” as possible for you. We’ll happily telephone your insurance company to verify your coverage benefits,” says Dr. Jen.

Balanced Body MN has received the Chiropractic Distinguished Fire Star Award and is a member of Great Doctors of Chiropractic.
