The event was held at the Terrace Banquet Hall in Vaughan on May 25 and roughly 1,000 guests attended to help raise money to benefit over 100 not-for-profit organizations in the city. Entertainment for the evening included performances by Juno Award winners Jully Black and Dominic Mancuso.

“The AV in the main ballroom consisted two 9’ by 16’ screens with projectors, LED video tile strips as the backdrop to the stage, a camera for IMAG and recording, a flown line array PA system, LED up lighting, moving-head lighting fixtures, pin spotting on 98 tables, custom 16’ by 32’ stage and draping around the entire perimeter of the room,” recalls Michael Agard, Account Manager for bb Blanc. “It was a fairly technical setup and one of the biggest productions held at the Terrace Banquet Hall.”

In addition to the main ballroom, bb Blanc also supplied services in the cocktails/pre-function room leading up to the Gala Dinner. This consisted of a PA system, LED up lighting, stage, screen with a projector, and entertainment in the form of a DJ and saxophone player. From the main building entrance leading to the pre-function room, over 280’ of velour drape and LED up lighting was set up in the lobby area to provide an elegant entrance for guests.
