With a booming referral business, the physical therapy and rehab clinic has had to move to a larger office twice in the past eight years to serve its patient load.

“We are moving to a new, but nearby location at 6708 Ferris Street, to better serve our patients. We continue to receive patient referrals for physical therapy and our growth simply necessitated a move to a larger space,” said Dr. Abraham Lieberman of Bellaire Physical Therapy, “and we are serving all age groups from children to the elderly.”
Bellaire Physical Therapy has worked with patients in the heart of Houston for eight years. They provide a menu of rehabilitation and physical therapy services. Some of these services are orthopedics, neurology, sports and manual therapy, cancer rehab, amputee and prosthetic rehab, pediatrics, dry needling, home exercise programs, post-op, posture rehab, and more.
“I am a believer in physical therapy because it helps the body to repair itself. I had visited two orthopedic surgeons and both had agreed to perform surgery on a meniscus tear in my right knee. But I decided to try physical therapy and a doctor friend recommended Bellaire Physical Therapy. It was the best medical decision I ever made. After a months-long effort strengthening my knee joint and muscles I was able to return to the basketball court. It’s been four years and I am pain free and I play any sport I want,” declared Raymond Campbell, a patient at the facility.
Dr. Lieberman is described on the company’s website as “a constant critic of the scientific literature” and one who “continues to review the latest and greatest peer-reviewed articles in his field to ensure that he is providing the absolute best for his patients.” During his career he has worked with numerous doctors and hospitals including Memorial Herman Sports Medicine and Rehab, Texas Orthopedic Hospital, TIRR Memorial Herman, and others. Dr. Lieberman has spurned physical therapy treatments that have been shown to be ineffective or inefficient. He has developed new concepts for treating patients and he has focused on those that he felt were under-served – amputees and back pain patients. He opened Spine Therapy and Amputee Rehabilitation (STAR) and more recently My Kids Therapist, a pediatric section of Bellaire Physical Therapy.
